4. Google Analytics

We have integrated the Google Analytics component on this website (with anonymization function, here also: "Web analysis service"). Web analysis is the collection and analysis of data about the behavior of visitors to websites.
The web analytics service collects the following types of personal information: online identifiers (including cookie identifiers), internet protocol addresses and device identifiers, identifiers we provide, data about from which website an affected person came to an internet site (so-called referrers), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for which duration of stay a subpage was viewed.
The operating company of the Google Analytics component is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (here: "Google").
We use the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp" for web analysis via Google Analytics. By means of this addition, the IP address of your Internet connection will be shortened and anonymized by Google if the access to our website is made from the European Economic Area. The purpose of the Google Analytics component is our legitimate interest in analyzing the flow of visitors to our website (Art.6 (1) lit.(f) GDPR). Among other things, Google uses the data and information obtained on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website in order to (i) compile reports on the activities on our website and (ii) provide other services related to the use of our website. With these services we want to improve our offers.
Google Analytics sets a cookie on your computer. We will explain in more detail below what cookies are. By setting the cookie, an analysis of the use of our website is made possible. Each time you visit one of the individual pages on this website, the Internet browser on your computer automatically transmits data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical process, Google receives knowledge of your personal information, such as your IP address, which serve, among other things, to understand the origin of visitors and clicks.
The cookie stores personally identifiable information, such as access time, the location from which access was made, and the frequency of your visits to our website. Each time you visit our website, your personal information, including the IP address of the Internet connection you use, is transferred to Google in the United States of America. This personal information is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may transfer this personal data collected through the technical process to third parties.
Google processes your data on our behalf on the basis of a contract processing contract according to Art. 28 GDPR. Under this agreement, Google is authorized to engage subcontractors. For a list of these subcontractors, visit https://privacy.google.com/businesses/subprocessors/.
The data subject can prevent the setting of cookies through our website as explained in Section 5 at any time by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently contradict the setting of cookies. This setting would also prevent Google from setting a cookie on your computer. In addition, a cookie already set by Google Analytics can be deleted at any time via the Internet browser or other software programs.
Furthermore, it is possible for you to object to the collection of Google Analytics generated data related to the use of this website and the processing of this data by Google and to prevent such. To do this, you can download and install a browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This browser add-on informs Google Analytics via JavaScript that no data and information about website visits may be transmitted to Google Analytics. The installation of the browser add-on is considered as a contradiction by Google. However, if your computer is later deleted, formatted, or reinstalled, you must reinstall the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. If you uninstall or deactivate the browser add-on, you have the option of reinstalling or reactivating the browser add-on.
If you prevent the use of Google Analytics as described, there will be no effect on the usability of our website.
Additional information and Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html. Google Analytics is explained in more detail at https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.
